Ceramic Match Striker with Attached Side Plate
Light your match right on the adorable holder!
These wheel thrown match holders/strikers are made from North Carolina clay. There are 3 glaze options: matte black with a rough cast iron feel, speckled blue-green, and a speckled creamy white, that is smooth to the touch. Each pot is adorned with an exposed clay strike zone and an attached side plate to place the lit matches. (The attached plate will be on the left.)
The match pot is approximately 2" by 2", and the side plate is approximately 3" x 1".
Item will ship 3-4 weeks from purchase date. If there are some in stock, they will ship sooner.
These are made with the intention of using "strike anywhere" matches, as these matches will light directly on the pot. If you don't have strike anywhere matches the pot is also great for holding regular matches. There is a striker pad on the bottom of each pot, for your convenience. The striker pad will wear out quickly. You can add extra pads to your order at checkout.
MATCHES ARE NOT INCLUDED. You can purchase strike anywhere matches from Amazon and many hardware stores. I recommend Diamond brand. ACE Hardware has the best prices for these matches.
