These wheel thrown mugs are made from North Carolina clay. The black matte glaze (there is a slight metallic look to it) has a rough texture similar to cast iron, and the speckled white feels smooth to the touch.
The etched look is achieved by carving away some of the glaze.
Each mug is approximately 4" inches tall, and holds approximately 12 ounces of your favorite hot (or cold!) beverage.
This item is handmade, and slight variations in size/minor imperfections are to be expected, and adored!
These mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe.
